Bemba makes sharing web content with friends easier and more fun. Bemba users can instantly share anything they find on the web on their social platforms of choice, with just two clicks. Dutch people can enjoy a whole new way to share on Hyves: largest Dutch social network with 5.5 million users.

Sharing on Hyves
This is how it works. When visiting a webpage or online video you like, click the Bemba button in your browser. A small popup will appear. The URL and page title are pre-filled. Add a personal comment and click the Share button. That’s it! Seconds later a visually attractive gadget will appear on your Hyves profile page. The Bemba application creates the gadget and inserts it into the Hyves platform, via seamless integration with the Hyves API.

Future of the Hyves API
The Hyves API is still in development. The next release (1.1) is expected soon and will add a range of methods, like uploading photos and creating blog posts.
