Bemba Media
Bemba Media is a new social media company based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Founders Aaron Peters and Arne Dibbits are on a mission to offer people the easiest way to share their web experiences with friends and to discover what’s hot on the web right now. The company launched Bemba.com in March 2008. This is the team.

Aaron Peters (CEO)
Aaron graduated from the University of Amsterdam in 1997. He wrote a thesis on virtual communities and the commercial potential and worked in the online media business since. Aaron is in charge of Bemba product development.

Arne Dibbits (COO)
Arne graduated from the Delft University of Technology in 2001. His passion for interactive media was seeded during his graduation project at Ericsson and grew at companies @Home and Endemol. Arne is responsible for Bemba’s marketing and finance.

Joost Baaij (Tech lead)
Joost mastered developing internet applications using good old linux, apache, mysql and php. After a brief flirt with Java, he embraced Ruby on Rails and Agile Programming even before it’s official release. He has been an avid Railser since and is a contributor to Rails Core.
